Haiku adventures

Ooh, I'm a blogger!

Hello, friends and comment spammers alike, and welcome to my exciting new blog about my adventures in Japan (and, briefly, Hong Kong). Now there's a lot of rubbish blogs out there, so I've been thinking about how to make mine not-rubbish. I've decided that, in the spirit of:

a) being all Japanesey
b) Cantabridgian pretentiousness
c) trying to make my foreign travel blog more excitng than Anna's or Rob+Laura's,

I'm going to summarise every post with a nifty little haiku at the bottom. So all those of you who were unimpressed by the verbosity of last summer's missives can just skip to the end and check out the haiku (and maybe glance at some pictures on the way down).

And of course, the more haiku-format comments the better. Don't be shy, let those creative juices flow.
